A Cocoon Cracks Open
I recently shared a story about a moth’s cocoon on my newly launched Substack; about wonder, transformation, and that timeless childlike curiosity that still guides me today.
That’s the kind of energy I’m leaning into lately. If you’d like to read more stories like that (and get access to voice notes, musings, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and rituals beyond what I share on social media and public platforms), you’re invited to subscribe to The Venus Flytrap.
Meanwhile, in the shop:
→ A new framed silk artwork selection is now available - an altar for the wall, made from petal & plant dyed silk and mystery.
→ A few new silk pillowcases have also fluttered in limited edition and hand-dyed, as always. They go fast!
Lately, I’ve been sipping a daily lymph-loving smoothie (cucumber, mint, lemon, coconut water…), rebounding on my trampoline like a kid in the ‘90s, and watching Chef’s Table again with my son. The world feels a little softer when we let it.
This week’s tarot card?
The Empress of course. Beauty in bloom. Softness with power.
