SCRUNCHIE - ONE OF ONE

Sometimes, while experimenting in the studio, something emerges that I know I’ll never be able to recreate.

This silk scrunchie is one of those pieces.

I don’t remember the exact combination of dyes that created it, and I don’t think I could make it again if I tried.

Deep plum, midnight blue, and flashes of rust. Every fold catches the light differently.

There is only one.

Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
